Aparece estos días el disco homenaje a Joni Mitchell, A Tribute to Joni Mitchell .

Entre otros participantes, Caetano Veloso, Bjork, Prince. Nada menos.

Según malas lenguas, por la mala leche de Joni, se había quedado sola ("My favorite Joni story is that they tried to do a TV special on her and none of her old friends would pitch in. Even if it's a dumb rumor or a damned lie, it's a hell of a metaphor for someone who loves herself so much nobody else need bother...", dice Christgau). Con este disco hay que decir que no tanto.

Conozco poco a Joni, excepto por algo de Blues, que, confieso, no me ha emocionado tanto, y por esa mención en la "Bálada de Dorothy Parker". Pero bien que le daría una oportunidad a esta colección, en parte por el morbo de los prestigiosos amigos.
